Park Slope, to and from "I Love You, Man"

Special Edition!
"Shoes of New York"

Double Up!! I've been anxiously awaiting my first GoNY shoe find, but to find two in one day is unprecedented! It will be my glorious comeback!

This brings to mind a time, about one year ago...GoNY just a twinkle in my eye. I stumbled across a lime-green baby Croc hanging from the front gate of a Brooklyn Heights brownstone on my way to the Co-op after work. 20 minutes later, in Park Slope, home of the baby Croc, I find the matching shoe. Now, of course there are only two explanations: The first being that they are portkeys (of course, being a muggle, I cannot confirm or deny this)---the other possibility is that they are placed outside of secret rave locations, like in the episode of 90210 when the gang has to exchange an egg

Like Steve and Andrea, I had no such luck in my attempts and left embarrassed.

7th Ave and President St

On my way home from the Coop, devouring a chocolate croissant, when I stumbled upon this little beaut. Not sure what happened here. Good Samaritan puts the glove up, so not to be stepped on until the rightful owner returns?...Or just a dumbass took the glove off to put the mail in and somehow didn't remember putting it right in front of their face one second earlier, and walked away with one glove on

81st and Columbus

Truth be told, most gloves lying on the floor of this city are those that, in my opinion, fall out of the back pockets of skilled trade workers. This photo demonstrates a rare occurrence, in which both gloves fall out, the other is parallel with the approaching "woman" (I'm not positive of this, but my guess is those hips don't lie...Oh right, and the purse might be a hint).

There's a bodega a few stores up and I'm sure there must be an ill-equipped construction worker in there ordering lunch. Just toss those in the landfill.
